Improv Basics with Summer Walsh-Saylor

Improv Basics class is a 25 minute, 3-day class aimed for younger kids (3rd grade to 6th grade) who are just starting on an improv journey. We’ll be playing fun games that teach them the basic rules of improv while having fun at the same time. The class will go over the main rules of improv and teach kids how to trust their partners on the stage. All participants need are comfy shoes and clothes they can move around in, an open space where they feel safe and won’t break anything, a water bottle, and a big imagination. Class will start at 11 A.M. each day.

I have taken improv classes for many years. In January, I helped direct a two-week improv class for kids 2nd grade to 7th grade; I will bring what she's learned from that teaching experience to this virtual class with her partner. Improv is one of my favorite parts of my 7 years of acting. I am so excited to bring my experience to more people.

*This class is open to older kids, but will be aimed towards younger kids*

*You must be available for both days of classes*
